About Sound Healing

  • What happens during a sound healing session?
During a sound healing session, or sound bath, you will lie down on a yoga mat or sit while a variety of instruments are played around you. You will be invited to close your eyes and relax as the sound waves from the instruments work to rebalance your body’s natural frequencies.
  • Who can attend a sound bath?
Just about anyone at any age can attend a sound bath. However, like any other healing modality, there are certain medical conditions that would limit someone’s participation in a sound bath. If you have the following medical conditions it is not recommended that you attend a sound bath: pacemakers, implanted pumps/devices, epilepsy, first 12 weeks of pregnancy, severe mental health disorders. If you have questions about any other medical conditions we recommend you consult with your doctor before registering for a sound bath. Participants will be required to sign a waiver when they attend their first group or individual sound bath.
  • What is Sound Healing?
